What Remains, 2022
Acrylic
Art has become a big part of how I take care of my mental health. It’s something I come back to regularly—the process is always the same, and that routine helps ground me. But the outcome is never predictable, which is what keeps it honest. It gives me a way to slow down, work through what I'm feeling, and create something out of it—even when I’m not totally sure what that is at first.
Bathers at La Grenouillère, Monet, 2023
Acrylic
Based on an iconic oil painting by Monet, I challenged myself to reinterpret it using acrylics while staying true to the essence of his impressionistic style. What makes this painting unique is that I intentionally avoided blending any colors. Instead, I focused on layering and mixing hues to create an illusion of depth, typical of Monet's work.
Still life, 2024
Acrylic
My first attempt at still life, as part of my effort to refine technique in shadow work, perspective, and the balance between black and white shades.
Still Life, 2024
Acrylic
My second attempt at still life—this time focusing more on capturing angles. I really wanted to explore detail and depth perception with this piece.
